| Bio |
| I graduated from Grand Valley State University in the winter of 2007 with a degree in photography. While attending college I worked as a darkroom assistant for photographer David Plowden. The time I spent working with him greatly influenced my photographic career by being a teacher of the process and a mentor of ideas. My personal work has taken on several themes and directions ranging from documentaries about Michigan farms, industrial sites at night, and images dealing with the natural landscape. Several of my projects have been exhibited and are collected by members of the West Michigan community. I am currently a full time support staff member for the School of Communications with an emphasis in photography. As needed I am also an adjunct faculty member teaching an introductory course. I currently live and make my personal work in Allendale, MI. |
